flying dog Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Help folks. I know if I go to airservices I can get weather reports. But you need to keep the account active and if it is more than 90 days, the account is closed. Alas it has been WAY longer than that for me and so the account is closed. However, I have: Au Weather Free, Aviation Weather and Aviation Weather with decoder. Not bad, but I can't work out how to get AREA forecasts. Not only that, but putting in ICAO codes doesn't always yield results. I can get YSSY and maybe YSCB but YSBK, YSCN, YGLB all get nothing. If I put in 21 (area 21) I get nothing. Help - someone.
Guest Andys@coffs Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 http://www.airservicesaustralia.com/brief/html.asp?/cgi-bin/avreq?area=21 juist change the number at the end and you have your area
flying dog Posted September 8, 2012 Author Posted September 8, 2012 Thanks Andy. Dunno why I didn't know of that. I used to go to there but had to log in with user name/password. Have they made it not needed now? (This is where I went/go....) https://www.airservicesaustralia.com/brief/Default.asp?
kaz3g Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 It's all here on the Rec Flying site. Click on the RESOURCES tab at the top, then click on WEATHER and there it is. Or join AOPA and get it off their website! Or get Ozrunways with NAIPS... Kaz 1
