shu77 Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Just wondering which on-line log books people are using? I have been keeping track of my flights with one called MyFlightbook.com which is free, but doesn't seem to have a large Australian user base. Are there any other free logbooks out there, or does everyone tend to use payware tools?
gareth lacey Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 try freeware app "Cirrus Pilot Log Samsung app cheers gareth
av8vfr Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Android app Flight Book. Lets you enter data and create custom fields. I am still using freeware (add supported) but is cheap to buy (no adds). Also has an option to log in real time (execute flight) by using GPS but it states it is experimental and I have not used it. Opening page has custom summary sheet which is handy. Also can save backup to xml. I found it easier to create the xml logbook on PC then import it, rather than enter it all on the phone. They also back up data to a server if you want that option
shags_j Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 A long time ago I set out to develop an android app that could sync to a web front end specifically for australians. Well work got in the way :(
