Admin Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Please remind me again in about a months time...too much going on at the moment but yes, a great idea 1
Guernsey Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 What aircraft would you use for the logo? Alan.
ayavner Posted September 25, 2012 Author Posted September 25, 2012 hah I can see this quickly moving out of the "laughter" section...
Herm Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 What aircraft would you use for the logo?Alan. What a silly Question! Could only be a Jabiru or you would not sell enough of them. Jabs are really Sky Lice, Everybody seems top get them especially the children amongst us. 2
ayavner Posted September 25, 2012 Author Posted September 25, 2012 and we'd have to change FAA to CASA.... but honestly i like it as is, gets the point across regardless.
eightyknots Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Please remind me again in about a months time...too much going on at the moment but yes, a great idea What would you put instead of FAA? CASA?? RA-Aus???
ayavner Posted September 25, 2012 Author Posted September 25, 2012 What would you put instead of FAA? CASA?? RA-Aus??? Clear Prop
eightyknots Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Clear Prop It's a great concept on that shirt, easily adaptable to Down Under conditions!
Wayne T Mathews Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 I reckon a J3 with DCA as drag would tell the story for most of us old f#rts, eh? And the blokes it'd offend are too old to do more than growl these days. But with this one, perhaps we should call it, "The historical forces of flight." 1
Admin Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 ...sidebar (78-80knots has changed his avatar again)
Wayne T Mathews Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Could this mean he's hung his ties up?
eightyknots Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 ...sidebar (78-80knots has changed his avatar again) I think Narelle, with eighty knots in her hair, wasn't all that popular. I found another eighty knots which I will "hang onto" for a while.... .....meanwhile, the search for a good (accurate) 80 knots ASI picture continues. (The problem is that the Piper Cub I fly in doesn't get there for me to take a picture). 1

You are right about selling more of them however they would need constant maintenance so they would always be in the wash then getting their problems ironed out. Alan. 2
slartibartfast Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 While the gravity of life can be a drag, the thrust of a shirt like this is to give you a lift. Yes I know. I only post when I'm drunk. 2
planedriver Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Yes I know. I only post when I'm drunk. Many a true word spoken in jest eh Ross. Just looking at the time of the post, wasn't sure whether that was supposed to be your line, or mine:cheers:
