exdragnut Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Hi All , My Name Is Mark , And I've Spent The Last 15 Years Building my Own Drag Car And Racing It , It's Been An Awsome Adventure Over The Years , Good Times And Bad , Anyway I've Had My Fun And Its Time To Move On. To The GREENER Pastures Like RECREATIONAL FLYING , Why Did'nt Someone Introduce Me To This Sport Earler I Dont Know ? I've Always Had An Intrest In Aviation Ever Since I Was A Kid. My Cousin Ron Introduced Me To This Sport Who Has Been Flyin Around For About 5 Years , About 5 Months Ago He Took Me Up Flying With Him And I've Never Looked Back Thanks Ron. So Far To This Point I've Had 10 Lessons Up At Bendigo With Ray An Arsome Instructor , In Some Good And Bad Weather Conditions Mainly Bad To Me Because Im A Newbie , But Realy Thats The Best Time To Learn To Fly With a Life Line Sitting Beside You , Shure It's Verry Uncomfortable But It's A Great Learning Curve For Me , I Think Because One Day I May Be Exposed To It And I Won't Crap My Self. Gusty Weather I , We Practiced Stall Recovery , If You Know What I Mean ! , I Did'nt Have Much For Lunch That Day So It Worked Out Ok. So A Recap On My Venture So Far , Dont Be A Pussy And And Get Out There With Your Instructor And Learn To Fly In Exceptable Weather Conditions He Or She Will Let You Know Yes Or No , If Your A Newbe It's Good Way To Learn It's Not Nice Or It Can Be , Everyone's Different. Anyway Im Looking Forward To My Next Lesson With Ray Soon Number 11 , Cheers Everyone.
Mark11 Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Good to hear you've got a new hobby.... I won't stop until I fly like the guys on Flying Wild Alaska
Piet Fil Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 ExDragNut, Glad to hear you're enjoying the experience. I agree its a fine thing to aviate the RA way. Keep enjoying and learning. Phil
facthunter Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Good that you can cope with "rough air" everyone should relate to it eventually, but some would be put off by it initially as it takes a little time to get used to the motion of the plane (for some). Flying is a great experience so easily available to us through organisations like RAAus, and you seem to be appreciating it. Good flying... Nev
