We are approaching the warmer weather & therefore BBQ's will be a favourite leisure for families, however us men have to perform certain thankless duties at BBQ's which are detailed as hereunder:

After the woman buys the food, & prepares the salad, vegetables & desert, the woman usually then prepares the meat for the cooking, places it on a tray along with the necessary cooking utensils, sauces etc, & takes it to the man lounging beside the BBQ with a beer in hand.

The woman remains outside the compulsary 3 metre exclusion zone where the exuberance of tostestorone & other manly bonding can take place without the interference of women.

The man then places the meat on the BBQ.

The woman then goes inside to organise the plates cutlery etc., after which the woman comes outside to tell the man that the meat is looking great. The Man thanks her & asks if she will bring another beer while he is busy flipping the meat.

The man takes the cooked meat off the BBQ & hands it to the woman. The woman then prepares the plates , salad, vegetables, utensils, napkins etc & brings them to the table.

After eating the woman then clears the table & does the dishes.

Everyone praises the man & thanks him for his great cooking.

The man asks the woman how she enjoyed her night off for once & upon seeing her annoyed reaction, the man concludes that there's just no pleasing some women.019_victory.gif.9945f53ce9c13eedd961005fe1daf6d2.gif

Yes that is about right. It is a really skilled job to get it all done correctly, but a few stubbies go a long way to easing the burden.

Not at my house. We both share all the cooking duties & meal preparation, washing up & cleaning up..

At work, a chef cooks for us.061_pizza.gif.ac95d821fd296d3d7dd618d70e06122b.gif

Not at my place, I don't go anywhere near the BBQ, perhaps it's because I'm a Scotch (not beer) drinker...

Onions, the best exuse for beer man ever had.

Almost everyone loves caramelised onions. The fact that it only takes approximately a quarter of a stubbie to achieve this and stubbies arrive in a six pack, ensures a jolly good time doing it.

Cheers!
