Return to the skies

I'm in the throws of seriously considering a return to flying at either lilydale or coldstream, but without knowing much about either airport I would appreciate any comments. I held a ppl in the 80s and have never been able to shake my love of aviation. At this time in life (late 50's) I would love to return to the social aspect of flying but I'm not sure if either airport has such a flying club.

I hang around Coldstream and lilydale, the flight training at either is good , and the club at coldstream is pretty active, they have competitions every month and get together on Friday nights for a few beers and pizza

I work out at Coldstream through the week (at ACMA) and love the friendly nature of everyone who calls it home. I'm sure Bob at YVFT would be delighted to help you get back in the air.
