I think if you look at the weights on these aircraft that you can't carry a pilot and passenger and take on full fuel.

RAus would loose a further 50kg. Not sure about stall speed etc though.

They are not a bad little machine, and get along quite well. There is also one sitting at Shute Harbour. It was in the hangar, then out on the grass, then moved down by the hangars where it still sits. Don't know if it is for sale or not. Have a friend who did some time in one and says they fly quite well.

The company moved to WA and was then sold overseas................................................................Maj...024_cool.gif.7a88a3168ebd868f5549631161e2b369.gif

Think that was built down the road from me. The Eagle company moved and then went out of business years ago.

I think the manufacturing rights were sold to Malaysian interests.

Cheers

Has a stall speed of 45kts and 130kts max which is not all that fast with 125 hp. Probably could lic it RAA as a single seater till they raise the mtow again. If you are the first one to register you may have lots of work. Engine is 12 years old and may leak a lot.

Yeah, bugger for that 50kg. It was an early model a/c like and old cessna or something, at least ditching a few of the ancient instruments for newer ones for help, but not to the tune of 50kg. Not sure what else could be shaved off. Same price as many Jabs but without a Jab engine.

I think we are going to encourage a new generation of pilots with bald heads and weighing 30kg after massive dieting.
