Look at what happened from 1998 until 2008. In just ten years it has grown and grown.Watch the pieces come

piece by piece.I had no idea the Space Station had grown to this size.This is really cool.....

 

I wonder how much money has been invested to get it to this stage? That would also make ones mind boggle!

Can't help wondering though, who came up with such a jig saw. It's as if there was no master plan to start with. Sort of, "Ah, there's a spot there. Let's stick another pod there and spread some more wings(yes I know they're solar cells for power)" What ever happened to the old idea of a rotating wheel that produced it own gravity? Is that going to happen some day in the distant future?
