winsor68 Posted November 23, 2012 Author Posted November 23, 2012 People pay big money to make their cars sound like that Awesome isn't it. This was recorded on my HTC Desire Phone. I still like to watch it myself and I was there videoing so it must be ok... It really is an exciting aircraft...
pudestcon Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 I used to have a Cassut RC model in my younger days. Went like a scalded cat. Pud 1
shu77 Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Nice, Is it aerobatic? the wikipedia page makes it look like it could fit on the RA-AUS register? (if RA-AUS was able to put planes on the RA-AUS register)
Guernsey Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 That's probably a Harley engine with the volume turned down. Alan.
metalman Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 I was chatting to jock about his cassutt a while back, had a look over the pocket rocket and quickly did the maths,,,,6"3 115kg ,,,,I could get in but you'd have to called the fire brigade to get me out

metalman Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Why get out. Yeh ,,,nice,,,but unless it has a leak at the back somewhere I would need a wetsuit eventually, of course it can go inverted briefly,,,yeh all problems solved ,,,now where did I leave Jocks ph number

In all the Superman comics I've read, this "issue' never came up...
winsor68 Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 I believe the stall speed is in the region of 60+knots so Ra-Aus is out... For some reason I really like the single seat mid wing configuration in aircraft... With a bigger wing it would work... it only needs to cruise at 100knots to be hooting IMO.
