Piet Fil Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 A big thanks to Corey and Andrew (Motz) for the famil flight in the J-230 at Jaspers Brush today. If anyone's passing through the NSW south coast I would highly recommend dropping in for a flight or even just a chat about aviation. It was a friendly crowd of people at the strip and it was a comfortable place for a stranger to turn up to. Highly recommended place to fly at. Thanks Guys Phil 7
deadstick Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Hows that 230 go Phil? Pulls like a freight train? 2
planedriver Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 I know exactly what you mean kyliefil, and a nice place to break the journey while heading north or south. A nice buch of guys and Andy (Motz) always has a warm welcome and good advise, if needed.
motzartmerv Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Awwww shocks... Glad you had a good flight... Cheers
Piet Fil Posted November 28, 2012 Author Posted November 28, 2012 Deadstick, I'm going to have to fly another one so I have a comparison but I was Bl*&dy impressed with the power in 5331. She had an awesome rate of climb at a good speed, first time I've ever had to worry about breaking out of the white arc on a takoff climb out! An honest cruise of 106kts at 2800RPM, I was more than happy. Must be the great maintenance she gets! Phil
i_like_planes Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 A nice buch of guys and Andy Teehee. Cheers for the flight Phil. 1
