Jaspers Brush - A Great place to fly

A big thanks to Corey and Andrew (Motz) for the famil flight in the J-230 at Jaspers Brush today. If anyone's passing through the NSW south coast I would highly recommend dropping in for a flight or even just a chat about aviation. It was a friendly crowd of people at the strip and it was a comfortable place for a stranger to turn up to. Highly recommended place to fly at.

I know exactly what you mean kyliefil, and a nice place to break the journey while heading north or south. A nice buch of guys and Andy (Motz) always has a warm welcome and good advise, if needed.

I'm going to have to fly another one so I have a comparison but I was Bl*&dy impressed with the power in 5331. She had an awesome rate of climb at a good speed, first time I've ever had to worry about breaking out of the white arc on a takoff climb out! An honest cruise of 106kts at 2800RPM, I was more than happy.

 

Must be the great maintenance she gets!
