Flying the Bravo vs Super Echo

Has anyone compared flying the Bravo after the Echo Super?

 

I have had a test fly in the Echo Super and now am curious how much different it is in the Bravo

 

(interested from the point of perhaps buying one and doing trips around the State and further).

Main differences I can see are lower seating position combined with higher interior fuselage and higher left and right visibility, as well as no obstruction of a wing strut.

 

Also laminar flow wing with resulting higher speed in flight - and on the ground, i.e. TODR and LDR.

 

Has a hinged cowl as well.

 

I am sure there are many other refinements but these ones spring to mind the most.

I've got a few hours in the Echo Super but none in the Bravo.

 

I think that Shelley Ross has flown the Bravo - don't know whether she's flow the Echo Super.

From what I've read the Vfe is higher on the Bravo which is no bad thing.

 

Just as an aside the comparison you want to make is the same as the comparison of the Golf with the Sierra - see Paul's comments above about the airfoil. I have spoken to people who say that the Sierra is not a handling improvement on the Golf...

Also, I am pleased to get a pointer to "flywanaka". Lots of great articles about Tecnam flying there!

 

Now I have a desire to plan a trip, perhaps next year, ..and do a Mountain Flying Course!!

If its any help I can compare the Bravo with the Echo (not the Echo Super). Internally it looks familiar but flies like a different plane - think sports car vs sedan.

 

The Bravo was Fly Wanaka's when I did their mountain flying experience (its not really a course) - highly recommended though.
