I see that there is a thread entitled "Jabiru Engine 2200 Mechanical Problem Reporting". In the interest of balance in this forum, I would like to propose that Rotax 912 problems (80 or 100 hp) are reported accurately. What is required is factual information, including serial numbers, and a photo to illustrate the issue if possible.

What I do not want to see are problems with two-stroke Rotax engins, nor do I want to see Rotax-bashers' comments on this thread.

You're 098_welcome.gif.81ff07d492568199326e4f64f78d7bc6.gif to contribute detailed information for the enlightenment and education of Rotax 912 owners ...or potential owners.

TBO for a two stroke is so short I don't think there is enought time for problems to develop:puzzled:

The equivalent Jab thread is confined to the 2200 model, not the 3300 nor the 4400. Therefore, I thought it would be better to limit the Rotax models to the 912 series.
