Here's a short poem I wrote while bored new years eve. THE JOY OF FLIGHT strapped in the seat I take the control open the throttle and start to roll I feel the force as we gather up speed galloping forward like a trusty old steed I pull the stick back and break from the ground the feeling of peace is now to be found climbing to hight my sences aware a feeling of harmony at one with the air I admire the view like an eagle in flight the beauty, serenity that feels so right dancing on clouds in heavens oassis the feeling of joy as my heart now races time to land I make the call this is flyerme for runway 4 I line her up and touch her down but its not the same being on the ground.! 5
damkia Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 My efforts are somewhat worse that this effort that some may recognize (or Google): Oh freddled gruntbuggly Thy micturations are to me As plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee. Groop I implore thee, My foonting turlingdromes. And hooptiously drangle me with crinkly bindlewurdles, Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurglecruncheon, see if I don't!"
