Phil Perry Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 myself how to navigate and all you need is the map infront of you and some simple caculating using 10 minute markers.I have the one I bought around 1979 and it has written "Kane Dead Reckoning Computer" Though I wish they did not use the word "dead" Do I DEDUCE that the dreaded "Dead" word is found irritating by some aviators . . . . . . ??

Anyway, enough of this NAV talk already. . . . Just had a call from home, I've got to go and help the wife clear out the attic for the insulation guys. . . I went up there with her yesterday to have a look,. . . . . . geez, . . . . dirt, grease and cobwebs, . . . . . but what the heck, She's good with the kids.
