Guest nsmflyer Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 What can you tell me about the supercat, have done net searches and can not find anything about this model. I look forward to getting some light shed on this model
Yenn Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 We had 3 Supercats at Rodds Bay years ago and now only 1 is still here. They were all nice flyers although I havn't flown one. The build is solid and they can handle rough strips and rough air and take little maintenance. The one left at Rodds bay was up for sale a couple of years ago when the owner finished building his Borabee, but he didn't want to part with it, so it gets flown about once a month which is the same as he flies the Borabee. They are only single seater but the cockpit is roomy and they have done some pretty good long distance trips in the past. To sum up a good fun plane which is affordable and strong.
Guest nsmflyer Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 found some interesting info on the net, from american forums, saying this design had some major flaws ie pitch instability, hard to pilot etc,etc Anyone shed some more light, come on guys don't be spectactors, let us all know your thoughts, knowledge is power.
