Hi guys,

 

My name is Ryan (19) just shifted up from Melbourne. Currently running charters in aviation. Thinking about getting my RAAUS licence at Redcliffe can anyone recommend? And are there any social events up this way?

Welcome Ryan, sounds like your in the right locality for both flight training and social activity. The SE corner (and the rest of Qld) is one of the most active recreational flying areas in the country, and has the second largest number of registered pilots. Welcome to QLD, I train at Go Fly in Caboolture and I agree with Scott, talk to Neil or Damien or a new young instructor Ritchie, great bunch or guys and a relaxed atmosphere, and great training, you can't go wrong IMO..
