Phil, The shiraz coment was directed to Mr Isaacs. The Porter was used in PNG . Big lift weight, big volume. A workhorse. Nev

Oh dear ( space ) Sorry Nev,. ( more space to think ) It just seems curiously coincidental that Mr. Isaacs and I appear to have the same problem ( space ) with the same type and design of liquid ( More space ) Or maybe the "Problem" isn't really a problem as such ( big space ) perhaps it's just that when we finally finish work for the day ( space ) we then have time to look into our copious wine cellars, and select a container of the current favourite tipple ? ( space ) that we like ( periodically ) in which to imbibe ?

Sorry ( space ) I'm trying my best ( space ) not to upset Gnarly ( space ) as he seems not to like periods ( end of line )

Pardon me ( space) but isn't that an Americanism ? ( big space for emphasis ) When you commit aviation Gnarly ( space for breath ) do you roll out to a "PERIOD" as the aircraft's energy is all used up at the end of the landing run ( space ) or do you call ( space ) "Gday Brisbane, ( space ) this is VH ( or 25 - whatever ) final for 19 "Period"

Just wondered ( space for dots ) [ FULL STOP ]

I realise that, ( gap ) if you leave a space between sentences ( gap ) on a forum, or ( another one ) in fact, on anything interenetty, ( errrrrr ) then if you can't separate your comments into meaningful phrases or statements, unless you put every sentence on it's own line and treat it as a separate paragraph ( space ) otherwise all your words of wisdom will be rammed together into a "Lump" which to a prolific typer like me is a complete bugger, ( gap ) rather like speaking to someone and not leaving a sensible space between words for the natural break or breath to take place and rendering any kind of emphasis therefore impossible ( end ) I personally like the use of lots of full stop landings,. . . . . . . so that the reader can. . . . . ( hopefully ) differentiate between lines without me having to use the "Quiz List" method of writing, where each sentence or statement appears in isolation on a separate line thereby wasting screen space ( I probably waste most of it anyhow - - - - - - ) I hope this goes some way toward an explanation of the way I tend to write Gnarly, no offence in any way intended of course ( end )

Phil, you are bloody hilarious. Been into that Shiraz again have we ...

Noooooo David,

My Brother Raymond ( pilot as well, wouldn't you know ) went to a general auction last week, and amongst the rubbish there was quite a large quantity of alcoholic beverages being sold, in crates ( and even in PALLETS ! ) he could not remember what I like most, and although ( gawd bless him ) he managed to secure 24 bottles of French cabernet Shiraz 1998, ( I prefer the South Australian stuff if I'm honest ) he also bought a crate of 7.5% scrumpy cider in tinnies.

We are now a cider expert ( hic ) it's a bit rough, but I tell you what, it's got a kick like a mule, ( I dunno about the bouquet of an Aborigine's armpit, because it doesn't seem to have any aroma at all, apologies to Monty Python's Flying Circus for that bit, and of course to any Aborigines who may be reading this ) Anyhow, I still have several dozen tinnies remaining, so Ifa noyone fancies a party, you bring the girls, and I can supply the grog.
