Hi all,

May I introduce myself, I have been following the Recreational Flying web site for some time but have not posted a thread, that is until Ian Baker put me on the correct runway!!! thanks Ian,

I fly a "Best Off Nynja" (Skyranger) out off Watts Bridge in Qld and also a Drifter from Kev Walters flying school, later for low & slow fun and the Nynja for more serious stuff like the Birdsville races last Aug and Natfly 2013, Greg Roberson, the "Best Off" agent in Australia built my aircraft and I could not be more pleased, so much so we plan to have his aircraft and mine on the display line at Natfly, so if you are attending this year come and have a chat and a "captains" at the best Rec aircraft in it's class.

Regards to all

with a name like Nynja, you'd expect it to be all matte black with darkened windows and a quiet muffler! How cool would that be!

oh, welcome Ken! 026_cheers.gif.2a721e51b64009ae39ad1a09d8bf764e.gif

Thanks for the welcome Ayanver, I am thinking about one of those Nynja face covers as a winter flying warmer!!! darkened windows may prove be a bit of a problem on final at last light though.........

Regards

There's a picture of a Skyranger on Airliners.net painted all black. Looks pretty cool on the ground, but I wouldn't want to try and find it in the air!037_yikes.gif.f44636559f7f2c4c52637b7ff2322907.gif

Hey Ken: That's a pretty sexy looking airplane!!!

Be even sexier if it didn't have struts.

Thats one very good-looking Skyranger - I just sold mine - it was a 2003 model VFun with a 92hp Simonini - plenty of power and very easy to fly but noisy, lots of vibration and with the low wing loading, bouncy in thermal conditions. Yours looks to have ceconite covering, a different wing section, and of course the Rotax 912S would make a huge difference.

Cheers

I was sorely tempted to buy a Skyranger a couple of years back, but must admit it did'nt look as sexy as Ken's.

That Nynja is real pretty.
