campslive Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 So that leaves the question of why? horrible for a trike pilot to wonder why or what happened ? if the spat came off and the aircraft flying normal wouldnt the spat travel backwards or one would think so with speed etc ? or did the spat actually strike the prop and took a chunk off a blade or 2 and vibration took them in ? i have heard stories of pilots loosing one or half a blade and there motors shaking out of there engine mounts,,,, would really wish findings where posted for everyone to learn from,,, 2
Bluey Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 A structural failure of any kind does not seem to have been a factor in this accident. Bluey
