Deskpilot Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Something different from Cessna today. http://ukga.com/news/view?contentId=29829
Guernsey Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Now there's a turn up for the books, a Cessna with an upside down wing. Looks good though, obviously trying to compete with those fast Morgans. Alan.
biggles5128 Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Pretty sure that Cessna 310 I flew had the wing at the bottom..........
Guernsey Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Pretty sure that Cessna 310 I flew had the wing at the bottom.......... Forgot about those...must be getting old. Alan.
turboplanner Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Like the idea of ESP, that should be the beginning of the end of inadvertent loss of control, and open up the possibility of maintaining controlled flight after inadvertent entry into cloud. I guess it's not going to be $150,000 though.
Keenaviator Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Pretty sure Cessna bought out Cirrus or something similar a few years ago.
corvairkr Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Pretty sure Cessna bought out Cirrus or something similar a few years ago. Yep Cessna bought out Columbia Aircraft (an off shoot of Lancair) they look very similar to the Cirrus . Jason
Owi Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Don't forget the Cessna Corvalis is a low-winger too, which this one looks a lot like.
Guest Howard Hughes Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 .....or you can kitbuild a Lancair Evolution Or you can buy an early model Citation, go just as fast, carry more people and have a $1.5 million left in your back pocket to pay for fuel/engine changes, etc...
damkia Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Don't forget the Cessna Corvalis is a low-winger too, which this one looks a lot like. Corvalis TTx ........... Just a different version of the Corvalis 1
