Hi names Guy, son of ex NZAF pilot 14 squad 1948, My Dad , hes over 80 yrs old, and still grabs the stick, ( when offered).so i listen to his storys with interest< As for me I sat up front as a young boy, sometimes being handed the controls with empty seats, on the return flight, the only planes I fly are models, my interest, is ww2 aircraft, and the people restoring these,

We want you to feel very welcome here, and there are heaps of guys here who either fly, have flown, wannabee's, or or simply have aviation memories.

 

So glad you made the effort to post.

 

If you happen to come across my old school-mate in NZ, tell the bugger he still owe's me 5 bucks. (AUS that is).

 

So do you have any inspirations on flying currently?

Hi Guy, and welcome!

 

I really hope to come over to Kiwiland and see Warbirds over Wanaka, and the WW1 planes at Omaka. Definitely on the bucket list.
