shu77 Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Has anyone seen the Sport Shark before? First time I had come across it but Im a massive fan of inline seat twins http://www.shark.aero
Hongie Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Looks nice... looks very much like a blackshape prime i think its called
shu77 Posted March 17, 2013 Author Posted March 17, 2013 Yes indeed but the blackshape has a 472Kg MTOW where this has a 600kg
DGL Fox Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Yea looks great..if only I could win the lotto to buy it.. David
JUSTNUZZA Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Does not even look close to the aerodynamics of the Blackshape. Tail and wings maybe, but not the cockpit. The Blackshape was looking into 600kg certification .
nong Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Has anyone seen the Sport Shark before?First time I had come across it but Im a massive fan of inline seat twins http://www.shark.aero A non pilot has said "inline seat twins". A pilot would say "tandem seat singles". LOL
Mick Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 They are looking for dealers, so who has large fortune that they want to turn into a small one? 1 2
Guest Howard Hughes Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Dealing in what exactly? To be able to afford one of these...
bexrbetter Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Not the worst thing you could be seen in hey, very nice also if function follows form,
winsor68 Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 A non pilot has said "inline seat twins". A pilot would say "tandem seat singles". LOL I was looking for the second engine! 1
shu77 Posted March 17, 2013 Author Posted March 17, 2013 Thanks guys.... I'm guessing you figured out what I meant.
Bandit12 Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Whatever you meant, that is a very attractive little aircraft
shu77 Posted March 17, 2013 Author Posted March 17, 2013 Blackshape for Comparison. Theres a few similarities, I think the Shark has been styled to highlight the Shark like tail. It may also be the angle below, but the cowling looks a lot shallower than the Blackshape. Either would do with at 600Kg.
Admin Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Looks like they are all derivatives of the Millennium Master
shu77 Posted March 17, 2013 Author Posted March 17, 2013 The black shape is the Millennium just rebadged when the design was sold. The Shark I'm not so sure on.
Marty_d Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 A non pilot has said "inline seat twins". A pilot would say "tandem seat singles". LOL Yes that one got me too. The only thing about tandems though - how do you keep the CG in range when the back seat goes from unoccupied to occupied (or vice versa)?
ben87r Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 no different to a 4 spot, managed fuel load or ballast, if required at all.
nong Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 Yes that one got me too.The only thing about tandems though - how do you keep the CG in range when the back seat goes from unoccupied to occupied (or vice versa)? Maybe this one is soloed from the rear?
