AOPA Book - How good is it?

I am looking at buying this book. http://www.clearprop.com.au/aopa-national-airfield-directory.html

 

But how good is it? 2012 is out soon (if not already?).

 

Can someone with the book tell me if Wanggoolba Airstrip Fraser Island is listed and if it mentions the landing fee.

 

Also maybe check Childers AD too.

 

If it does go to that level then it will be a useful reference for me to have.

The 2012 edition is available but, if you're not going too far afield, the local instructors/ aviators should know the airfield details you need (if your flying school doesn't have a copy of the directory)

The pic in the listing shows the 2010 copy but the shop has had the 2012 edition since it came out late last year

I have the 2008/9 edition (only because there is a pic of me on the cover). Childers is in it but not Wanggoolba. Fraser Is (Vic) is there.

 

No diagrams for anything, just text, so not as good (in my opinion) as the series from http://www.flightace.com/airstripsonline.htm
