Zac Wheeler Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 G'day Lads, Just started learning to fly in a Jabiru J160D. A mate told me about this site so i thought I'd join up. I now have 10 hours in my logbook and went solo at 7.6 hours. My goal is to become an airline pilot for someone like Qantas or Virgin. If the bl**dy weather would ever come good, i might just make it. I live in Sale and just dropped out of uni to start flying. I was studying property and real eastate in Melboure but thought it would be a better idea if i started working towards my dream straight away. Cheers guys Zac Wheeler
facthunter Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Good luck with your plan Zac. Hope this forum aids your progress too. Nev
alf jessup Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Zac, Glad to have got you onto the site, lot of experience on here and a lot of useful information at times. Don't worry about the weather there is diddly squat you can do about it and learning to be patient will hold you in good stead later on in your career. I know it is hard when all you want to do is fly but that is the way it goes. I'll shout you dinner at the pub tonight since your going to miss your 5pm lesson today because of your dreaded friend the weather. Cheers Alf
