Admin Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 This year AusFly at Narromine is on the same weekend as the Australian Federal Election. Do you think that the election will impact the turnout at AusFly?
fly_tornado Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Our grey nomads are used to postal voting. I don't think it will affect numbers
Mick Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Going to AusFly sounds like a good excuse to do a pre-poll or postal vote and avoid the throngs at the booth on the day! 1
metalman Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 I'm planning on going to the flyin, the federal bloodbath will have to happen without me!
Guest Yampy Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 I don't think it will have any effect on the attendance figures ... People will just get their priorities right and go to Ausfly .. That's what I will be doing .. Who'd vote for either of those two jokers anyway ..
Gnarly Gnu Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Do you think that the election will impact the turnout at AusFly? Or - do you think the turnout at Ausfly will impact the election? If she > < not getting many votes it may be an excuse to try. Buncha misogynists at Ausfly too probably.
rdarby Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 A tip for anyone going - get fuel early, as they would only refuel when the airshow was not on, and each time they restarted at the start of the flight line. Your takeoff to go home is also determined by when the airshow is not on, so be flexible, as the airshow times shifted a bit last time.
