Kyle Communications Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Viking have announced a kit aircraft that they will roll out in sections until production is done here is their brochure on it http://www.vikingaircraftengines.com/news/News.html Now if it looks familiar it is..its a Paradise P1..which is ........yes you have it right a Ibis basically. The last pic in the brochure is taken at a australia aerodrome as it is a 24 registered aircraft and they have doctored those pics to put different numbers on it but it is the same aircraft at the same place infact this pic is from rec flying site here. It will be of course a 19 registered aircraft as you are building it but the parts I would think will be coming from Columbia to the USA then out to customers. The pricing as stated makes it a extremely cheap aircraft kit on the brochure if you total it is a touch over US$40,000 inc the engine and firewall forward kit..not sure about any avionics but still cheap considering the factory built is about 120,000 Old Jan is really taking the bull by the horns now supplying engines at crazy prices..$12,000 and an aircraft kit at $28,000 It will be good to see the outcome of all of this 1
