Hi Harry,

I used to own a kr2 and have a few questions about your build.

What is the empty weight of the finished aircraft ?

Is the undercarriage the Diehl aeronautical version ?

are the wings - the tapered kit skins or did you build from scratch ?

Have you ground run the engine and how are the temps ?

what size are the wheels ?

Well done aswell - the plane looks good.

Hi W0zz

Aircraft is 335kg empty and 544kg MTOW.

U/carraige main legs are f/glass and longer than kr2-s legs

as the prop is a 72" 3blade warp drive and needs that clearance,

hence a stirrup on the pilots side to mount the wing.

Nose wheel is Jabiru with push rod steering from rudder pedals.

Engine temps with honda civic chin radiator config. is about 80-100c depending on ambient temp

at WOT static for indefinet time.

Wheels are 5" for lo drag without spats.

Aircraft has been signed off for test flying of 25hrs but awaiting return of RAA registation certification

papers.

Regards

Harry
