rankamateur Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 So my papers arrived the other day, the covering letter and about three other forms. The letter said I had to give hours and landings but no where on any of the forms is a place to write them in. Is this what others find or am I short another form?
Kyle Communications Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Hi Steve I think I had a place to put those on the stuff I got for mine. Sent my rego papers for the Sav away yesterday they should have them today with EXACTLY the extra bits they wanted for my file. So we will see if the rego time expires before I actually get the rego back like everyone seems to be.
Jabiru Phil Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Sent mine in the other day. I usually put the hours etc along side of the existing hours shown Done thus every time and no problems.
Kyle Communications Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Maybe thats how I did it.....the same way I did it for the aircraft rego I just sent yesterday
Compulsion Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 I did the same as Jabiru Phil and got my certificate papers back with a note to say the actual license would follow when they caught up.
rankamateur Posted April 25, 2013 Author Posted April 25, 2013 Sent mine in the other day. I usually put the hours etc along side of the existing hours shownDone thus every time and no problems. This is my first renewal so they didn't have aby hours for me last year, if there isn't aspecial form for it I will just write them a note on one of the sheets, What do they need? Just hours and landings?
Kyle Communications Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Yes just your total hours not landings from memory. I will be ringing them tomorrow to make sure my stuff has arrived in the express post bag. There should be no excuses for delays as they sent me a letter back in January about what was missing from my file so they had already gone through it with a fine tooth comb. They want a pic of the LHS of the aircraft showing the numbers and another pic of the ride at your own risk sticker that has the 560kg on it and not the 544 that was on mine. They also wanted total hours done last year and this year the same with the landings. I sent all of this WITH the actual letter they sent me about what was missing so one normal person would think that hey this is a real easy one we will knock it over in 5 mins so I am hoping mine will be back on or before the 18th of May. If it isnt then..........
Gnarly Gnu Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Yes that form is odd, from memory (and unless it has since been improved) it's rather unclear where the hours should be entered.
