Another weekend, another landmark - got my 5 hours PIC under my belt! I think that just about finishes up the syllabus, just have to get with my instructor and see what is next in the way of lessons, consolidation, etc, and hopefully be ready for my flight test soon!

I must say it was great flying weather over the last couple of days, so you picked it well. I popped over to the adaminaby fly in yesterday and the morning air was smooth!

mate, the rate you are going you will have your cert + pax + navs and I'll still be trying to make time with my instructor in YSBK :-(

All going well I will have my cert by August. Athough I'm on no time line, thats what I'm hopping for. I will then be taking a 2 month break (Holiday) So it will be back to the Instructor for more lessons when I get back.

 

Keep flying at YWOL when you can, from your other posts you don't seem to happy with the guys at YSBK. I know its further to travel but if your getting to fly when YOU can and getting good instruction its got to be worth the extra time and money IMO
