facthunter Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Sapphire, if what your instructor says is true he shouldn't be near any aircraft, anytime. He should have refused to go along with it. The take -off on a large aircraft is the most critical phase of flight, where the most rapid decision may be likely regarding control ( engine out) and criticality of a rejected take off (Brake to a stop from just below decision speed) and evacuate passengers to maintaining an exact speed and track and perform vital actions in the continue the take off situation, .plus handle a possible engine fire after engine shutdown and a rapid return to land.. I suppose the F/O was capable of doing all that on his own if the $hit hits the fan Eh! 1
Sapphire Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Strange things go on in a/c. Only when there is an accident is the truth learned.
Yenn Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Was it shot in a cockpit, or just done in a studio to look like a cockpit?
facthunter Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Modern jet cockpits look like studios. When I first saw one I thought it came out of a Kelloggs Corn Flakes Packet. Nev
Mark11 Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 The technology defeats me... The link takes me to a page but no video, just advertisements. Maybe it doesn't work on my apple device? Ah we'll, shouldn't watch things that raise the blood pressure on a flying day. Use iswifter app
