Bluespin Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 G'Day, Found the forum and thought I would introduce myself. Having flown a number of aircraft off and on over the years in several countries but never progressed to solo and a licence, I decided to finally make a real effort. This week aged 67 I soloed at Hoxton Park in a Jabiru. Now once the lousy weather clears I am keen to progress some more hours and lessons towards the GFPT. I think the idea of recreational flying is great and by keeping the costs a lot lower than GA it is a chance to build hours and gain greater proficiency. My target is to be able to fly to Temora for one of the historic flying days. Watch this space! :) Bluespin
Yenn Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 G'day Bluespin and welcome. I have the same desire to fly to Temora on a flying weekend but it is a bit of a way from Central Qld. I have seen the museum and my appetite is whetted.
rick-p Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 Welcome Bluespin, you are headed in the right direction. Regards, Rick-p
