Guest Maj Millard Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Just checked Daves' spider tracks and looks like he's on the ground at Toraddin which I believe is his final stop. He had been delayed over the past couple of days with fog in the area, so no doubt he and crew will be happy to have completed the big trip around the island. CONGRATULATIONS DAVE AND THE WHOLE CREW........WELLDONE!!!!!!!,..............

farri Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Hi Mark, Back in the late eighties, Chris Bolton, Trike owner and pilot, from Cairns, took off from my strip here in his trike, flew anti clockwise around Australia, ending his flight back here. He was reported as being the first to fly solo around Australia, in a Trike. Cheers, Frank. 1

Dieselten Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 David and his crew dropped in to YWOL a few weeks ago and we made them very welcome. On behalf of all the Illawarra Flyers I extend heartiest congratulations to David and his support-team on a magnificent achievement and a demonstration of the durability and tenacity of the human spirit.
