kgwilson Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 The relevant information not shown here as eluded to in JohnGs post is "How many registrations are in process and how many of those are waiting because all relevant information was not supplied and how many are waiting due to poor and inadequate systems and processes at RA-Aus. I feel considerable sympathy for the mess that Wayne Mathews has inherited and find it unbelievable that an organisation with 3.5 thousand aircraft on it's register in 2013 has all these manual files. Motor vehicle Registrations and numerous others have had data stored in relational databases for decades enabling instantaneous interrogation, reporting and re-registration anywhere the network is accessible from. The head in the sand attitude of our organisations governance for the last decade at least and the current dysfunction within the executive doesn't help either.
AlfaRomeo Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Mark and Wayne are progressing digitising of the entire registrations data to achieve just what you suggest KGW.
