Fancy chipping the Major you horrid little upstart. I figured he needs some exposure to criticism Riley; for when he becomes a "Board/Director/Committee member" - or whatever the position is known as these days:wink: You've cut me deeply using that descriptive term "Upstart" Pud 2

Guest Maj Millard Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Lovely days flying in company with Cab Sav (Julie and Ian Wells from Heathrow)....Always great to have a chat with Farri, and surprisingly smooth air on the way back, which is why I thought I'd do something different and try a post. Had the Sav visual ahead, and three sets of eyes on the sky for bandits..................Maj........
Guest Howard Hughes Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Posting while flying, who would do such a thing?
Guest Maj Millard Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Will I need a special endorsement ?.......Maj...

facthunter Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 You have to allow a bit for the effects of hypoxia. No one thinks as well when airborne. Especially at 3 am in the morning. Nev 1

nomadpete Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Please, Please,,,,,, Stop this aerial posting business. Especially stop saying how nice it is in the air. It's making us all jealous. 1 1
pudestcon Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Good to see you are still as feisty as ever Farri:wave: Maj has a habit of making me jealous, every time he relates a flying exploit. Pud 1
farri Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Good to see you are still as feisty as ever Farri:wave: Pud Good to see you`re still here also,Pud! I was begining to wonder. How`s the Thruster going? I`m about to go down and finish putting my 503 back together. Pulled it appart for inspection and to remove carbon. We havn`t received the rain that was forcasted so I should be able to test fly it in a couple hours time. Frank. 1
Guest Maj Millard Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Thanks for having us Frank, Julie and Ian enjoyed meeting you and that old legend Ron Biondi. Take care with testing that new engine..................Cheers Ross
eightyknots Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 ....You've cut me deeply using that descriptive term "Upstart" Pud Pud, "Upstart" is nothing else but an endearing term for an aviator in the take-off mode. I would see it as a complement!

farri Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Thanks for having us Frank, Julie and Ian enjoyed meeting you and that old legend Ron Biondi. Take care with testing that new engine..................Cheers Ross Ross,You are all welcome any time. It`s a pity we didn`t have more time together. I`d like to find where Ian and Julie fly from, on Google Earth. Can you give me some coordinates and what do you call "Heathrow" ? I`ve just got back from a test flight and the 503 couldn`t go any better. Frank. 1
Guest Maj Millard Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Frank I just looked on GE and it doesn't show Heathrow yet, or at least the runways anyway. It does show Lethebrook just north of Laguna Keys and they are close by, just North of where the river enters the coast there .............Ross

G'day Frank, Yep I'm still here and chipping away, although had a health scare recently - I'll PM you. The Thruster is performing faultlessly on the 582 blue head, although I don't get to fly it as often as you get to go flying. Make sure you have no parts left over after putting that 503 back together eh? Pud 2
