Hi all,

I am totally new to ppc's and aviation in general but got an interest in powered parachutes so after a trial flight, I have ordered my own and am halfway towards getting my solo license. I am getting the hummerchute, it suits me for its size storage wise and it has plenty of comfort and power for me. Though I guess I have nothing else to compare it to.

But I gotta say every time I take off and am up there looking down, you can't wipe the grin off my face 004_oh_yeah.gif.82b3078adb230b2d9519fd79c5873d7f.gif.

So that's it in a nutshell, great site, am getting alot of useful and interesting info off here.

Hi and welcome, sounds like you jumped straight in, enjoy the ppc, they sound like a lot of pure fun (which is the point really of recreational aviation)

Welcome, Pugster. Your type of minimal aircraft sounds ideal; no hangarage fees, take off and land just about anywhere. National Geographic photojournalists love them.

thank you all for the welcome.

yes the ppc is a lot of fun and very convenient in many ways. I will be getting the camera up there once I have a few hrs up, expect to get some great shots.
