Puren Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Hey everybody, thought I'd sign up and say hi, I've finally convinced my wife to let me take up flying, now my daughter is a bit older. I've worked a number of jobs to get to a position where we can afford it, so I'm excited about fulfilling a lifelong dream :-) cheers 1
JabiruWeekendWarrior Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Welcome aboard Puren, Have you decided on type of training, Rec certificate or Private GA license ??? Do you have your eye on a Aeroplane you are intrested in flying ???
Puren Posted July 12, 2013 Author Posted July 12, 2013 Hey, Sorry mate it was a distracted post, I'm at the hospital with my little one who keeps trying to treat up the waiting room. I'mgoing to goulburn for my rec certificate initially. it's cheaper and one job means I travel most weekends as well as through thee week, so wifey appreciates me being at home as much as possible. planning to start on a gazelle, maybe switch to a jsbiru I've got more experience to be able to take longer flights. can't wait!!!
Guest Maj Millard Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Welcome Puren, best of luck with your flying, my teenage daughter often enjoys a flight with her Dad.....Cheers Maj...
mothra Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Get after it Puren, you won't regret it. Gazelle may not be the sexiest looking thing but they are a good machine to learn in.
Old Koreelah Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Welcome aboard, mate. Many of us had to postpone flying while life got in the way. We enjoy most the things we worked hardest for. 1
68volksy Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Welcome Puren, no doubt we'll see you leaping around the Goulburn skies in the little Gazelle at some stage!
