The Jacaranda Festival Muster at the South Grafton Aerodrome is on again this year. The weather did not co-operate last year so up to 20 aircraft did not arrive. Those that did make it had a great time vowing to return next year

The Jacaranda Festival is held every year in Grafton NSW. This is a world renowned event that has been held since 1935. For more information see

All RAA and GA aircraft welcome.

This is an informal flyin with preferential treatment to pilots prepared to take one of the Jacaranda Queen contestants for a flight over the city on Sunday morning. There are no landing fees. There is ample parking/tie down, under wing camping and the club boasts a bunkhouse, kitchen, toilet and hot shower and "Veranda of knowledge" facing the taxi way & 900 metres of sealed east/west strip or 1200 metres of grass.

The nearest Avgas is Coffs or Lismore but it is only a short distance to local Mogas suppliers. The clubhouse is only 2 minutes walk to the nearest Pub and about 5 minutes to the South Grafton Shopping Centre and Bi-Lo supermarket.

We have a sponsored Van available to transport visitors to town and food and beverages are available at the clubhouse including a Saturday night dinner and a good Aussie Brekky on Sunday morning. For more information contact

Personally, I don't think there's [/url]intelligent life on other planets. Why should other planets be any different from this one?

Anybody contemplating coming from the south to Grafton & you need Avgas, fill up at Port Macquarie or you will cop a $28.00 tower fee at Coffs Harbour which could add substantially to the cost of your fuel.
