Third tech manager in 18 months gone........

It might not be in Chart Form but anyone who reads it simply needs to add the entire Board (as an entity not individual members) sitting immediately above the General Manager and you have the org structure for RA-Aus. It is not so complex.

In a recent amendment to the Constitution it was spelled out that the Board Executive comprising the President, Secretary and the Treasurer is a sub-committee of the Board and answerable to the Board. As I often pointed out to Runciman the Executive is the servant of the Board not its commander. The President's only duties are as Chair of Meetings and to relay the view of the full Board as Spokesman for the Board. The President does not speak for the Board but relays the sentiments, thoughts and conclusions of the Board to the world at large. There is no place for the President's view other than as one of 13 members of the Board.

More one sided gossip.

Teckair, Copies of letters sent to the GM from Attorneys, do not qualify as gossip.................Maj...028_whisper.gif.c42ab2fd36dd10ba7a7ea829182acdc1.gif

We should appreciate that Wayne is a big boy and quite capable of looking after his own best interests and is doing just that. On the other hand, Mark Clayton and the Board have adequate backup and resources to come to a proper accommodation with Wayne. My vote is that we now leave this to the affected parties.

I don't believe that any further discussion here is going to add value to the process. Just mho.

Are you trying put the fire out in a diplomatic manner?

I do not like how the sad and sorry affair was attempted to be swept under the carpet, then the hounds came in and barked it everywhere. They expose secrets you know.

Good then don't take part in it if you want to seep things under the carpet.

.

Keith,

Not putting the fire out - that can only happen when the issues are mutually resolved by the parties with, perhaps, some assistance from the courts.

Wayne is a friend and I would be uncomfortable in his position having this discussed ad nauseam on a semi-public forum.

Just being considerate . . .

Turbs, after 180 posts the carpet must be sitting pretty high off the floor by now with all those comments seeping under the carpet. Do you really believe there is something new to be said?

........... well stick up for him and be a support, be out there.

If you are his friend you will clearly understand how he was blindsided of this issue, "honesty" Wayne was treated poorly.

Good one, that is special and said in a non-novel way.

Don, I am a friend of Wayne's also, and if he didn't want to highlight certain problems with the process, I don't believe he would go to the trouble to keep those on his Email list updated as things transpire, as he continues to do.

I have not posted much on this semi-public forum also in respect to him, however I have shared with some interested parties in the area.

I would agree we are only getting one side of the story, however if the whole thing gets down to a lawsuit between he and the GM/RAAus, than the GM will have to share his view on things at some stage with the membership. Especially if it ends up costing the RAAus additional cash in the process.......................Maj....033_scratching_head.gif.b541836ec2811b6655a8e435f4c1b53a.gif

The GM playing his cards I would dearly like to see.

With that happening there could be some prisoners taken and a lot revealed.

We are hearing it second hand, that makes it gossip, and selected 'Copies of letters sent to the GM from Attorneys' is one sided, and this will have Waynes slant on what is happening.

I think most people including myself wanted this position to work out for Wayne and were disappointed when it did not, if you want to check early posts you will see this. I think it it is unprofessional for Wayne to be leaking emails to certain people and does his cause no favours. This sort of behavior indicates to me he may not have been suitable for the job.

Right now the best thing we can do is let the board and the GM get on with the job and see what happens. If problems still exist then the it will be time to act.

You will not get that from one sided gossip, but you could try asking a board member or two or more, the problem here is we have too many s!!t stirers.

That's easy! Join up, go to Fyshwick and ask to see the paperwork quoting Rule 36. Next problem.

Teckair, Wayne has a very small group with whom he communicates and from whom he hears advice. Not unprofessional just wise. If Wayne were posting on here then you might have a sustainable argument. Clearly, he has chosen not to while the matter is between the parties.

I am confident that good sense will prevail in this matter from both sides although it has taken a hell of a lot of time to get done. There remains just one issue to resolve and wheels are in motion for the matter to be put to bed once and for all. I'm content that those wheels turn without our assistance.

Here we go, burying, burying, burying - the same old garbage since 2010 when we could have taken decisive action, and now have been looking at positive activities, like getting down to zero cost subscriptions, providing build support, reinvigorating the grass roots classes and so on.

Turbo, your post states "...when we could have taken decisive action" , do I take it that you are a member of Raaus?

There is at least one poster on here that that gets hold of Waynes emails and then makes ridiculous claims based on them and and I don't recall any of them that are constructive or helpful it is hard to see how that is wise.

I can; it messes up the disinformation brigade

The usual unhelpful, negative, knocking, we have come to expect, what do you hope to achieve?

The truth, Richard, just the truth.

I somehow doubt if all the board and the GM are lying about this.

I would have thought considering the past history of Tech men there would have been a very strong incentive for all concerned to make that situation work.
