old man emu Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 The liability implications far outweigh expanding non-RPT flying in Australia financially right now; Sorry, TP. I don't comprehend what you are saying. Please expand on your comment. OME
turboplanner Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 COSTS I should have said the potential liabilities These are from crashes, aftermath of crashes, legal costs, claims, need to take constant action, redraft legislation etc to minimise claims etc in terms of costs to the Government. BENEFITS It's hard to get these up into the tens of millions or hundreds of millions.
rankamateur Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Really, the USA has ASIC's also? The sheriff of the world doesn't play by the same rule book as their faithful subjects do they?
fly_tornado Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 weird I don't remember having to take my shoes off leaving Australia... The sale or "privitisation" of a single Australian airport could fund the First Boat Owners Grant in Jakarta for 3-4 weeks, providing hundreds of Indonesian families with safe reliable ocean going transport... 1 1
kaz3g Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Really, the USA has ASIC's also? I think I read they gave them away again. Kaz
