You have to be "airside " to be considered a risk, so in the clubhouse should'nt make you liable for a check. Even if you drop into a hangar for a chat with the resident owner, you may still be checked.

At one stage even being available "anywhere" was taken as not being able to drink. I reckon putting a small note "Available to fly unless I have had a drink in the last 12 hours". but the whole thing was too silly for words. Nev

what is wrong with ramp checks nothing I have been ramp checked twice at wagga once at albury I have had all the relative maps ect in the plane your complaing of ramp checks is only drawing the crows

 

try driving heavey trucks if want checks neil
