Jabiru Tyres

Hi,

 

My Jabiru SK aircraft will soon be due for new tires. At the moment it has

 

three Cheng Shin 4 ply rating tubeless (with tubes?) 13X5.00-6 fitted

 

What would you suggest as replacement ?

 

It has closely fitting wheel pants so the tires could not be any larger

Hi Nev, I'd recommend the standard Jab tyres, Trellerborg 13x5x6 from Jabiru. They used to be around $55 each. If size is a problem then perhaps the 10 ply ones that are mentioned elsewhere in this forum might not fit under your spats.

Ted has just been round to my place for tea and biscuits.

 

Together we opened a package containing a New Lowrance Airmap GPS unit I bought from Aircraft Spruce. Told me all about your landing in his paddocks and scaring the horses half to death Etc Etc

Ted was my music teacher at High School. Haven't seen him since SAAA at Wagga 2 years ago.

 

I don't remember scaring his horses, but I do recall scaring the crap out of someone elses prize winning Deer and having it run off into the bush never to be seen again :-)

 

His place was only 20 minutes from Aerochute from my place in Longford.
