Can anyone advise as to what hangarage may be available at Tooradin? I am after a couple of nights in a week or two and have so far been told only that Phillip Island Helicopters runs the whole show? (Yep, I will be ringing them, but wondered if anyone knows any more.)

Thanks in advance.

No that's not so. Try Ian Loveridge or Danny from the flying school. I don't have his number handy you'll have to google the flying school. He doesn't regulate the hangar, but he knows who does...Nothing to do with the helicopters or the parachuters.

Seb I would be interested in hearing the outcome; I have a long-held wish to get to the MotoGP at Phillip Island one year. Bloody bike failed me on the trip there last time. Why not fly in? Has anyone done this?

Won't be getting back to them for other reasons now, but the flying school put me in touch and then spoke to fella from PI Helis today. He did say they were a bit busy with the GP....

I've been into Phillip Island a few times for various things, no probs, it's a CTAF with a hefty landing fee, and watch out for the bloody rabbit holes but it's a typical gravel strip.

We had a BBQ on the beach with the aeroclub last chrissy, pretty cool ,flew down after work ,had a feed and flew back to YCEM just before last light, gotta love daylight savings,
