motzartmerv Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Hi All. The guys from red Baron flying school at Bankstown are running an Intro to EMT day at Jaspers Brush on the 2/11/13. Its open to all pilots RAA or GA. The schedule is for an extended briefing from one of the aerobatic Instructors followed by a BBQ lunch and some flying for those who are up for it. The briefing and BBQ lunch is free and the flying in the Robin aerobatic trainers will be at a discounted rate. (TBA). I first of all approached the idea for myself and my Instructors but we reckon everybody could benefit from this sort of advanced training. The boys (and girls) from Red Baron are the real deal and very professional and the Chief Instructor is now an even better pilot having had his GA instructor rating UPGRADED to an RAA instructor rating with our school..lol. If interested, contact me..:) Cheers 2 1 2
facthunter Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Great idea Andy. Love your 2nd last line. Hope it isn't quasy aerobatics, just real EMT. Try some under the hood if you can arrange it. (Limited panel of course). Good luck with it. Nev
motzartmerv Posted October 13, 2013 Author Posted October 13, 2013 Thanx Nev. yes, we are thinking Intro to spinning and unusual attitude recovery as a starting point. The flight times will be limited so its not a full EMT, but we can work towards that. Im Looking forward to it.
Piet Fil Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Unfortunately I am on a TIG welding course that weekend but if you ever run it again I'll be there with bells on. Really keen to get training in spin/unusual attitude recovery training.
Gnarly Gnu Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Yeah that's the welding weekend... post a video of the briefing?
