kaz3g Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I just found this http://www.planning.nsw.gov.au/asp/pdf/07_0147_ea_nc_appendixk_heritageimpactassessment.pdf and it tells a really great story of some young guys who built their Fly Baby 2 and flew it without any formal training in either construciton or piloting. kaz 1
facthunter Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Changed a lot since I did 2 and a quarter hours of joy flights there in C-172 VH- RNC Sept 27 1964, with my one month old Commercial. licence. Rather nice area out there west of the Lake. Nev

Virago Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I clearly remember reading an article (and photos) in Pix magazine about someone who built a Clancy Skybaby in their backyard shed. I was only a young boy at the time and have been interested in homebuilt aircraft ever since. My Morgan Sierra 100 project is coming along quite nicely and I often think about that Pix article.
