Guest trawler1 Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Good day Thought I should introduce myself, My real name is Stephen although with so many out there I thought I would use a nick name and that is Trawler. Have been trying to learn to fly for a long time, Stop start ( kids do get in the way). Last year got my GFPT and am working on PPL. Like you pilotgirl, find that the cost keeps getting in the road, ( those kids again) I feel that there is a great deal of good that a great site like this can do for all aspects of aviation, Have been looking thru some of the colorful names and then just sit back and wonder. Aviation is there for all of us to enjoy. Looking forward to being a part of The Aussie Aviator. May all your winds be on the tail. Trawler :D
Guest Chainsaw Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Hi and welcome to TAA (The Aussie Aviator). This is a good place to be. You will find it always very friendly, weird sometimes, but yes friendly. I'm not in the industry, just an addicted spotter. The one thread that is advisable for you to read is this one: http://www.theaussieaviator.net/viewtopic.php?t=1059 This will give you some idea what you are dealing with...a must read. Nice to have you aboard P.S. Tailwind? nah, give be the headwinds so I use full throttle and afterburners yea!
