Guest norlando Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Hi, I wear a hearing aid and was wondering if it was still possible to obtain a pilots certificate? I would dearly love to learn to fly however my hearing problem has prevented me so far. Any info would be great. Thanks
Guest brentc Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Yep. My instructor actually had 2 hearing aids. You will probably find that with the use of an aviation headset that you probably won't need your hearing aid in flight. That's for RA-Aus. I am unsure of any hearing requirements for General Aviation licences. Good luck.
