Guest OzChris Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 YES, it really is!!! I spent the day with my good friend Thrasher, from the forums here, and we took his (almost) new J120 for a spin...I had the time of my life! It was a great day out and what better way to spend it than with a mate in a plastic plane Flight Review of the J120 coming soon... Thanks for a great day Steve!
Guest Glenn Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 Glad to hear it. Can't wait to read the review

Or have you since worked out that an even better way to spend the day is with your mate in an all metal plane? :stir: ICP (Incredibly Capable Plane)

dazza 38 Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Apart from valve recession, through bolts breaking, valve spring failures etc. They are a good engine:D
winsor68 Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 I don't recall ever hearing the J120 refereed to as "Good"... without adding "for what it is/costs"... Still... I wouldn't mind one.
cficare Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 don't mind the J120... mind u, the microphone plugs are in a awkward spot... nice to fly....the only improvment needed is a heart transplant....... Rotax....increases peace of mind! 1
cficare Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 i'd suggest that Rotax engines cost more ...because...Jabiru continue to insist their engine is OK!!
winsor68 Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 I reckon a J anything with a Rotax would be a bloody good honest airplane... finally.
