Two Grumman Avengers which will be flying together at Temora Avaition Museum's flying weekend this Saturday and Sunday stopped off at Cowra briefly before putting on a short display then departing for Temora today.

Piloted by Paul Bennet and Paul Goard (Brumby Aircraft, Cowra)

They were meant to come in yesterday but we got hit by a dust storm and rain in the afternoon.

I got a pretty good up close and personal look at both of these magnificent aircraft. I was going to go to Temora just to see these but the weather is just too damn hot. No need to go now as I was able to get much closer and got my own little private airshow as they departed.

Some photos for now. More coming

My name is Dianne and I am Glenn's sister and I was at the airport with him yesterday. I know absolutely nothing about planes, I'm just starting out.
