I have had an interest in aviation like forever but, unfortunately, I have been unable to further this apart from the odd "day-dream", along with the odd flight!!

 

My first flight was in 1968 and involved a trip from Wellington to Auckland aboard a Boeing 737. I was unfortunate enough to have developed MS, multiple sclerosis in 1984 and that put paid to any thoughts of avaiation-grandeur!!! Since then I have travelled on numerous aeroplanes some of which have been the following (DC3/DC8/DC10/F27//HS748//B707/B727/B767/B747D), the little Bell & the Hughs200 helicopters along with the larger Hughs 500 model but never a glider (believe it or not!).

Good to have you here Geographically speaking you and I are quite close (maybe a 20 min drive) so a spotty when I'm not in uniform might be called for. Hope the meds are managing your MS mate.
