Guest David C Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 A fly over at the East Midland Airport in the UK is a very common happening , particularly for RR engined aircraft . It's normal for the aircraft to perform a fly over of the RR factory in nearby Derby also , to show off the aircraft to the employees .. After the flyover the 787 flew on to Shannon , Ireland , to top up the tanks before flying back to Seattle . It's been very disappointing for UK spotters hoping to see it at Farnborough , as it spent only a couple of days on static display , all on trade days too , the public days don't start till Friday ... At least the 4X F22 Raptors will still be there for the military buffs .. Dave C
